News about March 31, 2010 event for The Family Resource Center.
To our Fabulous Women of Dinner and a Cause,
 
WE DID IT!! With our recent party for the Family Resource Center we crossed the $100,000 line!!!
 Congratulations to all of you!  What a fine community of women we are! 
We had our beautiful party at the The Old Stone Farmhouse with 82 in attendance and raised a total of $5485, for a grand total of $103,391, with more checks coming in!   Can you imagine???  It just shows the power of one! That one would be each and every one of you!
We would like to thank Charles Mereday, owner and Chef of the Old Stone Farmhouse for generously opening his gorgeous restaurant for our fundraising event.  The food was delicious and beautifully displayed.  We would also like to thank his wonderful staff for their great service.
 
A big thank you to Chris Mackin for the use of the PA system from Mahogany Run.  We certainly appreciated her help.
This party has been a big milestone for those of us at Dinner and a Cause.  Our first party was March 6, 2006, where we were 20 in attendance and  raised $1200 for the Nana Baby Foster Home.  That was our humble beginning.  Never in our wildest dreams could we have predicted how Dinner and a Cause would evolve.  Evolve it did!  We now have over 500 fabulous women on our guest list.
